Garden Statues

Garden statues are commonly made of weatherproof fiberglass or heavy cement. As with the use of garden ornaments, be subtle. Having too many garden statues in your yard can end up looking cheap and tacky. A safer bet is to have only one or two statues in your garden. If you have a very large garden, you may want to have more.

Try to find statues that are classic and tasteful. Look for natural tones like grey stone. These colours will blend in with the natural environment and not stand out as much as brightly coloured sculptures.

Garden statues can be found in a variety of styles. Traditional statues tend to be of people or animals and can end up looking too cute unless you shop carefully. Modern statues can also be found if you want a more sculptural look.
